Steven Dziekonski has taught in several independent and public music school programs. Currently, he is the Center for Performing and Fine Arts Division Head at the Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School in West Chester, PA.  Previous arts administration positions have included Director of Arts Programs at Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad, CA, Performing Arts Chair at the Windward School in Los Angeles, and Music Department Chair at the Oakwood School in North

Hollywood, CA. Teaching positions have included West Virginia University, the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, public schools in Wellesley and Kingston, MA, and the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh. At various points in his career, Dr. Dziekonski has taught choir, orchestra, band, jazz-rock ensemble, AP Music Theory, musical theater, digital music production, music technology, and music history and appreciation.

Dr. Dziekonski earned his B.M. in Music Education and Film Scoring from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, M.A. in Music Education from California State University, Northridge, and Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University. He is the owner of G&S Workswhich provides custom orchestrations for Gilbert and Sullivan operettas worldwide. In addition to his commitment to arts education, Steven pursues his passion for helping and rescuing homeless animals.
